Should Women Train Their Necks?
Wednesday, January 21st, 2009I know. This sounds some what stupid. But, woman do ask me this sometimes. Unless a woman has a particularly small neck, women should not train their neck muscles. Just by doing shoulder exercises will be enough for most women to have a symmetrical, tone, yet feminine neck.
I recommend that women stay away from working their trapezius muscles. This are the muscles that are at the base of the neck. Usually people work this muscle with shrug exercises. Don’t do it women.
